ENSIGN BUSINESS PARK Ensign Business Park has attracted a variety of companies and businesses including Point Source, (a fibre optic company), Electronica, Espirit and the Royal Yacht Association who have relocated their office headquarters to the Park. Contact lens manufacturers Coopervision have a major presence on the Park occupying a number of industrial buildings. ENVIRONMENT South Point is located within a quarter mile of Hamble village renowned for its marine and yachting links. Hamble continues to provide a pleasant living and working environment for the community of Hamble with various traditional pubs and restaurants. THE SCHEME The development will provide nine buildings within three separate blocks for B1 office/industrial and B1a office use. The design provides total flexibility with five units in one block that can be combined and two other blocks providing two units in each, both with the ability to be designed as one building. SCHEDULE OF ACCOMMODATION (Measured from Architect's Plan Gross Internal Area SPECIFICATION The buildings will be constructed of a striking lower brick elevation with composite panel above, other features will include front entrance canopy areas and briese solair. Buildings 1-5 will provide a 50% fully fitted office content to first floor including carpets, suspending ceiling with lighting perimeter trunking and heating. The ground floor to be left as a shell. Building 6 & 7 will be the same but with the ability to design the ground floor to a full office standard if required. Buildings 8 & 9 will be designed to a full office specification either available as two buildings or one single unit. A full specification is currently being prepared.
